I remember making hundreds of Creepy Crawlers in the 60's. I also had Fun Flowers.

The Wham-O Air Blaster and Gorilla Target. A gorilla as a target. Sure. Every kid knew that the best use of this gun - which, by the way, produced a concentrated puff of air - was to aim it at some other kid's ear, close up. This gun fired a puff of air that could disturb hair or knock over a house of cards from 20-feet away. It worked by a cocking mechanism, activated by a lever on top of the gun, pulling back on a rubber diaphragm at the base of the concave funnel on the front of the gun. When the trigger was pulled, the rubber diaphragm snapped forward, pushing a blast of air ahead of it. The cone concentrated and accelerated this blast. Anybody remember having this fun classic toy?

Hi again here folks,
My wife Deb and I were reading this area of Robin Remembers the 70's...and we too also have some ultimate cool toy memories from back then also. Deb says that back then she loved playing with her Barbie Dolls, but she thinks the ultimate toy was the Big Green Machine. She always wanted one as a little girl but never got one. Now me on the other hand, I loved playing with my Army Men figures, but the ultimate toy for me was none other than the Easy-Bake Oven. It was the best by far. I loved the smell of a fresh baked brownie or fudge cake from those tiny ovens then, but unfortunately I never got one as a kid. Strange how life works out huh? Well we'll see you all on the flip side. Bye for now.

One of my favorite toys ever was the Wham-o Magic window. It was an oval shaped hollow plastic frame filled with different colors of sand that you would tilt, shake, tap, etc to make cool designs and "landscapes". I had the blue and white one but there was also a pink version that had a glow in the dark sand in it. You can always find a couple on EBay at any given time and they always go high! I would love to have one again and when I can get a decent one for under $30.00 I will!
