The past day or two I have been so bummed out because I just could not get my cookie exchange in this year. We just decided as a family to do more community service projects and I am very excited about participating in these projects. Today I was invited to a cookie exchange party that will take place on the 14th (Tuesday morning) which works out great for me. Anyway, it is given by three ladies (they live in the same neighborhood). We go to one of the houses first for a huge brunch, then to the second house for a White Elepant exchange (which I guess is like a joke gift exchange - not sure have to find out more), and then to the third house for our cookie exchange. This was such a neat idea I just thought I would share it with the board.

How does this work? Do people carry their cookies from house to house or do they drop them off at the 3rd house first.

Everyone drops off their cookies at the cookie exchange house first and then proceeds on to the brunch house. The hostess of the cookie exchange house would be the last to arrive of course. I think it will be neat to walk in and see all the cookies at the table(s). I'm usually the one to arrive on time so mine will be one of the first trays there for sure. I also think it will be fun to see the three different homes all decorated for the holidays.
