I wanted to share this little story.....several months ago I was reading the 60's section in Robinsweb, she was asking for memories of the 60's. I was born in 1963 and one of the first memories I had was about these darling little dolls that were only about an inch high and had different colored hair that smelled like flowers. They also came in their own little case to keep them clean and fresh. I could not remember for the life of me what they were called....when I posted this, Robin wrote me and told me they were Kiddles. Well, that's all I needed, I then went to good ole eBay and found the ones that I had as a child, and bought them!!! I now have my favorite dolls from the 1960's because of Robin!!!! They are wonderful and I am soo happy to have them again!! Thanks Robin!!!!  Paige |

Hi Paige, Glad you found the Kiddles.  I remember bringing Kiddles to school and hiding them in my desk as well as wearing candy necklaces and sweet tart rings and chewing on them in class. Also played with clackers before they were banned. Wouldn't it fun to go back in time for a day? |

Oh I had to share this "experience" I had today. I was driving to pick up my son doing my usual channel surfing on the radio. All of a sudden I stopped on a station that was playing, Puff The Magic Dragon!!!!! I haven't heard that song in ages!!! Now that was a real throw back! ;D

Too cool to hear that song ... that's a blast from the past, for sure ... I can smell the fragrance of those dolls ... hey, do you remember the 'Dawn' dolls?? They were very small, also, and had beautiful long hair ... eBay is so wonderful for finding memories. We bought an authentic 70's clik claks from eBaym unfortunately, they got broken when they were clacked real hard ...  |

I remember Kiddles... I had a few, but couldn't remember the name! And the Dawn dolls have been reissued for the 30th anniversary. I thought it was so cool that they 'danced.'
