early 60s fashion...for a show i'm doing! help!

I was wondering if ANY of you guys or gals that were teenagers in the 60s can give me hair, make up, and FASHION advice...like how you guys used to do it "back in the day". lol ;D

I'm doing a musical called "Surf City USA" and I really need some inspiration on some clothes I should bring in for my character! Please help me if you think you can help in ANY way!

hope this picture will help inspire your 60's fashion sense. I figure since your doing a musical on the 1960's Californian surf generation, you'd might be interested on what surfers wore back than. Hope your musical turns out really Boss!

the costume director lady finally gave me my swim suit! haha it looks exactly like the chick to the very far left....haha
but for the guys they're actually going to be wearing more revealing suits then the girls! haha...their trunks are about 6 inches in legth long...i got a kick outta that!
