This is my first exchange and apparently we are starting very late! But I am wondering how is the actual exchange handled? Do people pick and choose what they want to take? Do you set a limit as to how many cookies per batch that can be taken home?  |

We tell each person to bring 4 dozen cookies, if there are 12 people attending then each person will get 4 of each cookie. We just go around the table and each person will take the cookies from each platter and put them in her box.

Newbie, you need to buy Robin's book. It is all explained in there. She actually
has two books and both are about cookie exchanges. That would be your best
bet for a successful cookie exchange.

We do prepackaged cookies. I have everyone bring either a wrapped dozen or 1/2 dz cookies for each guest.
