Question, I'm using the recipe Robin posted under "cookie recipes" and I want to know if I can substitute rum flavoring with real rum since I don't have any rum flavoring and I'm not making it to the store...any help would be great! :-)

So apparently you can substite real rum for extract :-) I just used the same amount b/c I didn't want to totally botch the recipe.
The only other change I made to it was I used Egg Nog in the frosting recipe instead of milk, I think it was a great substitution! I'll be making these again for sure!

Yes, you can use real rum in replace of rum extract! My favorite is Black Seal Rum, it's the "rummiest"

Your recipe was fabulous by the way...out of the 4 cookies I made I think that one was my favorite! (And it was a last minute addition since my original egg nog cookie baker bailed on it b/c she couldn't find a good recipe!)
