Unfortunately due to a family emergency, I had to cancel my Christmas cookie exchange. People have suggested that I try hosting a Valentine's Day exchange or Easter. What are your thoughts?

Good Morning
I just signed up this morning & I realize it's past Valentines Day but I'd like to comment on your thought.
I think it's an excellent idea!!! We even do cookie exchanges for our family reunion every year. I'm thinking of starting one for our annual neighborhood party & for Halloween since we have all of the family & friends children come here each year.
I am finding that more & more of us are baking now days & are actually wanting to share their recipes & receiving recipes from others. Cookie Ex. are always a hit.

I think that's a great idea! What about Halloween? Could be a nice alternative to the usual activities, and gives every one a chance to participate! Heck, it could even become the new neighborhood activity!
