I'm working on planning a spring/Easter exchange. Right now, I'm thinking about hosting it the weekend before Easter (April 16th, 17th, somewhere in there). I thought it would be more appropriate to have a cookie/candy exchange since a lot of people making candy around Easter. And I think I might cut out games and just give prizes for best cookie and best candy (have my guests vote on these). For favors I was thinking either a cookie mix in a jar or a jar of candy. Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated. Also, I was thinking about sending invitations the first part of March. Would that give enough time?

I love making those pastel m&m cookies for spring. The pastel m&ms go quickly so buy them asap.
Favor ideas - An easter egg ornament (they sell them cheap @ the dollar store/walmart/target) - M&M cookie jar mix is extremely easy and again you could use the pastel m&ms (decorate lids with easter/spring fabric) - Games (Pin the tail on the bunny!)

Oh and one more idea would be to hand out candy bars as favors and make your own festive spring wrapping!
