They are on strings, but they are not rubber band - they are normal ducks on strings.

Thank you very much for the information. My details about the lanes was based on a telephone conversation with Kyle Fulbright, whose family owns the club, so I assumed that it was accurate. I have not been there, nor do I have any photos of the lanes. Have you been able to bowl there?
