White Oak Duckpin Lanes located in Silver Spring, MD is in danger of permanently closing. The 24 lane center opened in 1959. On September 2, 2021 flooding at the lanes started to occurr, which has led to a dispute between the owner, landlord and insurance company. A central issue in the dispute pertains to mold. The center has been closed since November 2, 2021. A detailed account of what has transpired is posted on the lanes Facebook page. A GoFundMe campaign has been setup.
