I was wondering if anyone would happen to have a recipe for "no bake chocolate peanut butter balls". I know that there are graham cracker crumbs, confectionary sugar, karo syrup, and peanut butter in the recipe I am looking for. What i'm not sure of is how much of everything there is and if there is anything else. I have tried looking online but with no success. My mother-in-law made these this year and I would like the recipe but unfortunately after she made them she didn't keep a copy of the recipe. She did say she found the recipe in a magazine so I know there has to be a recipe somewhere. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. Cindy

I hope you find this recipe. I had these the first time a few weeks ago at someone's house and they were awesome - but very rich.

Cindy, this recipe is very similar to what you are looking for:
1 1/2 c. conf. sugar 1 c. graham crackers 1/2 c. margarine 1/2 c. peanut butter 6 oz. semisweet choc. chips 1 T. crisco
Mix conf. sugar and graham cracker crumbs. Heat margarine and peanut butter over low heat (or double boiler) until melted. Stir into crumb mixture. Mix well. Shape into 1-inch balls. Heat chocolate chips and crisco. Dip balls into chocolate with tongs until coated. Place on wax paper. Refrigerate. 3 dozen candies
I usually at least double this recipe. Hope this helps.

A friend who does a ton of baking, makes these every year and gives them to friends.
She adds a small amount of food-grade paraffin to the chocolate coating. It gives them a glossy coating and lets them set up smooth and shiny.
