I made 7 dozen Mastaccioli cookies today. (An Italian spice cookie that has a drizzled frosting on top of it.) I am wondering if they will be OK until Sunday(Dec.11th for my swap)if stored in an airtight container-already frosted, or if they can be frozen. If I do freeze them, should I not frost them until they are thawed? I made these last year for my swap and everyone loved them, so I made them again this year. I baked them early only because it is going to be a very hectic week and I wanted to make sure they were done in time. Last year I didn't make them until the day before so storing/freezing options weren't a problem. Thanks.
