I found this little tid bit in the 2004 Better Homes Cookie Magazine. This helps me a lot because sometime I don't want to make a full recipe when baking bar cookies.
For a 15x10x1 pan you can substitute two 9x9x2 inch pans. Instead of a 13x9x2 inch pan you can use two 8x8x2 pans. When using smaller pans, use the same oven temperature but check for doneness 5 minutes before the minimum baking time stated in the recipe.
