Hi Ladies,
Yesterday at our ladies brunch we did the left right game for our gift exchange. I realized when I got home I had three different versions.
The Ellen Wright Left/Right we did yesterday and it's on this site. Here are my other two Left/Right games. I could very possibly have gotten them from someone on this site so thanks again.
Christmas Left/Right Game
Christmas was almost here, and mother RIGHT was finishing the Christmas baking.
Father RIGHT, Sue RIGHT and Billy RIGHT returned from their last minute Christmas errands.
“There’s not much LEFT to be done,” said Father RIGHT as he came in to the kitchen.
“Did you leave the basket of food at church?” asked Mother RIGHT.
“I’m glad my shopping is done.” Said Billy RIGHT. “I don’t have any money LEFT.”
The telephone rang and Susan RIGHT LEFT to answer it.
She rushed back and told the family “Aunt Tillie RIGHT LEFT a package for us RIGHT on Grandma RIGHT’s porch.
I’ll go over there RIGHT now and get it she said as she LEFT in a rush.
Father RIGHT LEFT the kitchen and brought in the Christmas tree.
By the time Susan RIGHT returned, Mother RIGHT, Father RIGHT, and Billy RIGHT had begun trimming the tree.
The entire RIGHT family sang carols as they finished the decorating.
Then they LEFT all the presents arranged under the tree and went to bed, hoping they had selected the RIGHT gifts for their family.
Now I hope you have the RIGHT present for yourself, because that’s all that’s LEFT of our story……
Except to wish you a Merry Christmas……isn’t that RIGHT?
Hostess Left/Right Game
I left the house RIGHT on time to get to___________s house. I had everything I needed to enjoy the party. My first turn was to the RIGHT then I turned LEFT. Then I had to turn RIGHT, RIGHT again and then LEFT. I hoped that I remembered the RIGHT way to get there. After I made the LEFTS and RIGHTS, I found that my memory was RIGHT on target. I was RIGHT where I needed to be, here at _____________s house.
After I parked my car, I checked to make sure nothing was LEFT behind. Putting my purse on my LEFT shoulder and holding the cookie tray with my RIGHT hand, I approached the door. Knocking with my RIGHT hand, I waited for ________to answer the door. I set my purse down on the LEFT side of the room and my cookie tray RIGHT on the table. I was ready for fun. I went to the punch bowl and filled a cup which I handed to the person on my RIGHT, who passed it to the person on her RIGHT and so on.
Suddenly the hostess LEFT the room only to return and announce “it’s time for the gift exchange.” The hostess directed everyone into the living room which was on the RIGHT.
I know all of you are anxious to see what gift you will receive said the hostess so simply pass your gift to the person on your RIGHT. That’s all that’s LEFT of this story except to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas…..RIGHT!
