Hi Ladies!
Well, I'm hosting my party this Sunday and every second counts right now. But I wanted to take a minute to wish "good luck" to everyone who is hosting a cookie swap this month. Especially all of you brave first timers. 
A Christmas Cookie Exchange is one of the most high maintenance party set ups there is. But the one thing I want to impart to you all is to 'go with the flow'... don't get too upset if people don't follow your rules exactly... and make sure that YOU have the best time of all. Otherwise it's not worth it.
As I said on the Food Network.... "Cookies is the excuse I use to have this party for myself!" Some years the cookies are so-so and sometimes you're pleasantly suprised and they're great. But it's less about the cookies and more about the friendships and the traditions...
And Thank You to the ladies who have already sent me photos of their parties from this last week. I promise I will get to them as soon as possible. (After my party, of course!)
