I completed the interview in May 2007. Then Country Woman contacted me in July and invited me to BE ON THE COVER of the magazine! Country Woman flew me to Milwaukee at the end of August for the photo shoot! It was quite exciting. Again, I urge you to join my Newsletter list if you want to hear more as I went into detail about that trip. Finally, the last annoucement... I can't quite make yet... and my List will again be the first to hear... but in involves a lot of airplane travel around the US and television. |

Hi Cathie, Thank you so much for your kind compliment. It's somewhat terrifying to think about! (Being on the cover of a magazine, that is....) Your book went out today! I hope you enjoy using it! I'd love to hear some feedback from you about what you think of the format. My mantra was the KISS Method (Keep it Simple, Stupid). I kept writing and deleting and condensing. I had to keep thinking... what EXACTLY do people need to know? If I was talking to somebody who'd never heard of a Cookie Exchange... what would they absolutely need to know to host the party? I wanted the book (it's actually a booklet) to be something to used, to be written in, (by you) to throw into a purse...not 10 pound coffee table masterpiece, to never be looked at. (IF I formatted my Robin's Cookie Exchange website to fit a book it would be a large heavy book. That's not including cookie-exchange.com photo gallery.) However, I don't think that is what people need. They do need (based on a gazillion emails received over the last 10 years) help organizing all the details, during what is already a very busy time of year... Christmas! Anyway, use it, it, use it, use it... write all over it!Have a great time at your party this year! |

How wonderful is that! I can't wait to get my next issue of Country Woman. I certainly want a couple copies of your book as well. Who knows--maybe we'll see you on a morning talk show or HGTV! Congrats! You deserve it!!

Regarding My Newsletter Subscription Listwww.cookie-exchange.com/sign_up_newsletter.htmlIf you signed up BEFORE October 28th, 2007, you may need to sign up again. After sending out a newsletter on October 28th and having innumerable sending problems, I changed mass email services. My new Newsletter hosting service is through Aweber Communications and should be very good without all the previous problems. It was highly recommended and I'm encouraged that my 10 year problem of sending mass communications has been solved! Everyone who was in the previous list was moved to the new one. However, t his is a Verified Opt-in list and you must respond to the activation email from Aweber Communications to receive anything from Cookie-Exchange.com.

Hi Robin! I got my Country Woman magazine yesterday with you on the cover. What a great article. I am so happy that it is finally out. The cover shot was beautiful. It must be so exciting for you. Congratulations again!! It was worth the wait!!

I'm going to run to Books A Million today to get my copy (hope they have the December issue on stands). This is the only place in my area that carries Country Woman.

CW told me it doesn't hit the newsstands until November 20th. Home subscribers may get it sooner, though. Someone wrote to me that received it and came to my site from the article.
