Hi Everyone! I'm so worried that I have come across this idea of a cookie exchange too late to make it happen this year. I really really want to do this. I read Robin's article tonight while I was grocery shopping. Oh what's a girl to do? What do y'all think? Thanks so much, Vicki

Hi Vicki, I'm waiting for a sedan to pick me up and take me to the airport... thought I'd check the board...
You could call your friends on the phone and explain the concept of the cookie party...not everyone is familiar of that a cookie exchange is.
Then send an invitation by email. That way you could send them some rules. Go easy on the rules on the first try, just to get the hang of it.
Good Luck! Robin

Hi Vicki,
I just sent my invites out today. My exchange is the 16th. This is the 3rd year I've had one. I think you'll be fine. If you send them too early, people forget!

Thank you! I've had a stressful week at work and have been sick too. I think I'll talk with some of the ladies at church and tell them about my party. Even if 1 or 2 people come that would be wonderful. I'm really lonely for a close friend. I think the cookie exchange is a wonderful place to make friends. Vicki
