How soon to bake cookies

Hi:

I am having my cookie exchange on 12/15. Do to a crazy schedule I was going to try to bake a little earlier than usual.
Is 2 weeks in advance too soon. I always store them in tins and put them in our "cold storage" room. What do you think?
