Hi! I am having my first cookie exchange Saturday and am looking forward to it. I have had a few people unable to come because they don't have anyone to watch their kids. I also have 2 preschoolers. Anyway, my husband is taking my girls out and we won't be having any kids at this year's exchange. But I was wondering if anyone has ever provided a babysitter 9in another room) for mother's of young children to be able to attend? If so, how did it work? Thanks!

I'll bet if you said you were having a kid free party and Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck were going to be at your house, your friends could find a babysitter. I wouldn't set the precedent of having kids attend, if you really don't want them. |

I've had that happen in the beginning too and believe me it is better to have less women attending (and have a stress free party) than to change your idea of a party to suit a few who say they can't find a sitter. I agree with Robin if they truly want to come and enjoy time with other women in a child free environment they will find a sitter. Where are their husbands!!!
