New to the board

Just wanted to say that I found this link last year while looking for Christmas goodie tray ideas. I've been baking since I was a child, and I love your site, Robin!

Unfortunately, no one I know, shares my love for baking, so I'm missing out on the experience of a Cookie Swap!

I do enjoy looking at all the pics posted of previous parties, and can't wait to see the newest ones, so I'm kind of living vicariously through each of your parties! LOL

I too am new to this link....20+ years ago my sister-in-law was invited to a cookie exchange....I WAS SO JEALOUS!!!
It took me that long to get up the courage to try my own.
I did mine at work.....it turned out pretty well, there were 18 ppl participating(one backed out at in the end, so there would have been 19. I didn't set any rules as this was a trial run. Everyone was excited and greatful. You'd be suprised at who might share your passion for baking. Invite church ladies, your kid's friend's mom's, Think outside the box!

I have thought about trying one with the ladies at my church! I just think it would be so much fun, and I have learned a lot of the do's and don'ts from reading everyone's experiences.
