Hey all, I've been driving myself crazy trying to remember the title of an old Halloween (I think) TV show show that must have been made in the 70's or possibly even back into the 60's. I seem to remember a witch dropping eggs out of a hot air ballon (which is why it may not be a Halloween show, but an odd sort of Easter show). The visuals seemed to have been dark with a lot of black and orange. The characters and setting were clockwork if I remember right, kind of like "Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer" or "Santa Claus is Coming to Town". Not much to go on, I know, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

I know the one you are talking about...... I believe it is called "Here comes peter cotton tail" It was definately an easter special, but it entailed peter rabbit flying around in a hot air balloon and traveling to all the different holidays(christmas, halloween, easter, july 4th, ect.) and delivering easter eggs. If you do a search with the key words " Rankin Bass" (the producers of these stop-motion holiday specials) you will probably find the one you are looking for. On an added note of interest..... did you know that Rankin Bass later went on to produce the famous cartoon the "Thunder Cats"? True! and many of the same voice actors that did the voices for the old stop-motion shows also did the voices for all of the thunder cats charactors too! Just thought I'd add that bit of info for ya! ;D
