Rocket Family show

Hi, I have a question about a kids show back in the early 70's that I use to watch and I can not for the life of me think of the name. The show was Japanese and was dubbed in english and it was about a family that lived in a mountain side and they could turn into rockets. There was also a grandfather type that helped them out in time of need. I keep telling my husband of this show and he thinks I'm nuts. Help me prove him wronge even if you have to make something up for me! Thank you ;DTEXT

You're not crazy...the name of that show was Space Giants. Goldar and Silvar were the parents and Gam was their offspring. a young boy(Miko) would blow a whistle to summons them when he needed. Eachitandete Thankyou!!!!!! You have proven me sane! My husban has canceled my room and meds! That was also a great link that you gave me for Space Giants. That brought back a lot of meories. I grew up in Delaware so we got all the Philadelphia channels so I saw it on channel 17 from Philly.
