I am looking for the title of a TV movie that was on in the 1970s. The movie took place in a city and all the people were gone except for one man.
If he needed a car, he just drove one off the floor of the dealership, etc.
He was being pursued by some form of ninjas who wore dark robes.
He had a fortified home and played chess with a statue of Beethoven as his opponent. It seems as he might have had flashbacks to whatever event took place when all of the other city inhabitants disappeared. Details are sketchy but I remember seeing this movie when I was a kid. Seems like it came on on a Sunday night. Any help would be appreciated.
