Does anyone remember John "Records" Landecker's "Boogie Checks" on WLS AM radio out of Chicago? Even though we were hundreds of miles away in Alabama, every night we could pick it up... just in time to go cruising in my brother's '66 Mustang! I don't think I've ever heard "Beth" by Kiss without all that static!

I lived then (and still do) in the Chicago suburbs and I remember John "records"Landecker and his boogie check all too well! Great memory! ;D

I have a half hour film of John Landecker as he was broadcasting live on WLS in 1977. He even does a Boogie Check right in the film!
