Check out anything worn by Bjorn Borg or Jimmy Conners. Short shorts, polo shirts, white socks turned down, (almost like ladies socks now). Tight in the rear with barely enough give in the legs to even move. All colors were either white or very light pastels with NO designs or emblems except on the short sleeves, left breast, or on one of the pant leg. Anything about Guillermo Villas or Vitas Guerrilitis would fit the bill perfectly. I played college tennis in the mid to late seventies.

Try Billie Jean King, Chris Evertt, Martina Navatrilova, and the skirts were mid to high thigh, white panties, typically white with a colored border on the bottom of the skirt. Shoe socks that came to the top of the shoe. These were usually one piece outfits that tapered at the waist. Look for photos of the above and Gabrillela Sabatini, Tracy Austin, Sue Barker.
