TV show with a chair staircase elevator

Help...we are tryng to figure out the tv show where there was a home with a chair that went up the bannister of a staircase...like a chair elevator. Someone said it was Farmer's Daughter. I don't think it was that...but I can't remember what it was. Thank you in advance.

Yes, it was the Farmer's Daughter with Inger Stevens and it was sponsored by Clairol. I rememeber it well, because a box of that hair coloring crap would descend down on the "ele-chair" at the beginning of the show to announce said sponsorship.
