hello, i'm looking for this album with various artists on it.
they are jim stafford-spiders and snakes,Dr.hook-cover od the rolling stones,brownsville station-smokin in the boys room,johnny nash -stir it up,clint holmes-playground in my mind. these are all the songs i can rember off this album and i would really like to buy it,but i can't rember the name of it.I hope you can help me out in my time of need.Thank very much

Try the time life web site, I just bought a 70's collection from there. I know the collection you are referring to and believe it was K-tel. However, Time life may have something close.

Hey Wendy, I think I found what you are looking for. It's called:
K-TELS Music Power.. It has the bands you mentioned. I found it on E-bay. 22 Original hits, 22 original stars.
Brownsville Station Jim Stafford The Styleistics Ian Thomas Sylvia Natural Four The Raspberries The Sweet Joe Simon Dobie Gray Barry White Four Tops Grass Roots Blue Mink
etc..etc.. Sound familiar ?

Thank you bushy, I found the k-tel official site,but the album u found isn't the 1 i looked on ebay also and found that 1 but if u find more feel free to email again Once again thank u every1 yall were so helpful. I got my antique record store now looking for the k-tel albus.

I want to Thank everyone who was helping me look for this album GUESS WHAT I BOUGHT IT ON 6/5/06 Thanks to sour records in columbus ohio they found it 4 me the true name of this album was RONCO PRESENTS (GET IT ON) 1974.
