Remember the huge posters from Tiger Beat and 16 magazines?Whose pictures were hanging on your bedroom walls? Throughout the years I had: Bobby Sherman, David Cassidy, Donny Osmond, Tony De Franco, and Brett Hudson.

Mine were primarily David Cassidy, not the others! I did have a bit of a crush on a guy called Andy Fairweather-Low (he was the lead singer with Amen Corner in the UK), and also Peter Noone, earlier than that.

Didn't decorate with posters. Maybe that explains the framed Partridge Family bookcover in my rec-room. It has a group photo on one half and a photo of David Cassidy on the other half!!

Mainly the Osmonds and Donny Osmond hung on my walls. But there was some Bay City Rollers (mainly those that included or were of Ian Mitchell), Tony DeFranco, Leif Garrett, Chris Knight, Brett Hudson, Tony Orlando, Freddie Prinze, and Andy & David Williams there too!!

Leif Garrett...Jimmy McNichol...Scott Baio...Donny Osmond..Shaun Cassidy (I also really love David Cassidy; but I was only nine, in '72, when David was a "grown up" teen).
Up until even just a few years ago, I had still held on to (pack-ratted) some Teen Beat, Tiger Beat, and all the other glorious teen mags that was my "must have" mags. JRO

Hi everybody,
Well I asked my wife Deb who she had hanging on the walls of her bedroom as a teen, and she said she had posters of Andy Gibb, John Travolta, David Cassidy, KISS, Peter Frampton, The Bay City Rollers, Robby Benson, The Bee Gees, and so many more that she can hardly remember them all. Now me on the other hand, I had posters that were full of innocent times with the likes of Farrah Fawcett, Elvira Mistress of the Dark, Catherine Bach Aka Daisy Duke, Bo Derek, Lindsay Wagner Aka The Bionic Woman, Lynda Carter Aka Wonder Woman and last but never least the girl who had my heart from an early age and made me want to be a caveman...Kathy Coleman Aka Holly from Land Of The Lost. But that was then as I had stated earlier, nowadays the only thing Deb hangs on our bedroom walls is me. Honey i'm sorry...really I am...honey no...honey please....just put the gun down honey and back away from it slowly....can't we just be friends? Only kidding here folks. hahaha.

I had a variety of posters on my wall. Does anyone remember the 1977? Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders poster? I was completely enchanted by that poster. It was a poster of about 5 cheerleaders and I believe it's what made them famous. Two movies and numerous tv appearances came shortly after.
My friend and I used to pretend that we were Dallas cowboys cheerleaders(we were around 12 or 13). We made it a life ambition that after school we were going to move to Texas and join the Dallas Cheerleaders.(from Ohio, nonetheless) Of course, our ambitions changed over the years, so these plans never panned out. It's funny looking back on it though! One day, the memories came flooding back when I turned on the CMT and saw the new show about DCC. I even did web research on the cheerleaders from the 70's, and even found out the names of those girls on that famous poster! Info we never would have found back then!

for susan 65. Thanks for the accolades. If you look at the bottom of the poster you'll see that I'm the one to blame. www.bobshaw.com

to Bob Shaw, I think it's really neat that you responded to my post. You're very welcome for the accolades. Regarding the DCC poster, any interesting stories to tell about it? Were the DCC easy to work with? Did you suggest the poses? I would love to hear more about it!
