I am looking for a photo of the buffalo platform sandals we used to wear in the 70's. Does anyone have one or know where I can find one?

Those look different from what I remember buffalo sandals looked like. I remember seeing them in the JCP & Montgomery Ward catalogs. They were light tan or beige in color and the straps looked like they were made of suede and the platform was covered with a suede like fabric. I wish I had an old catalog with a picture.

The ones I wore were tan in color, smooth leather straps... kinda in a crossover style and they had the suede covered platforms.I remember alot of stores carried them.I know what you are looking for but have no pictures.

I also had them in the seventies. they were my favorite summer shoes! I have them now, bought at target a few years back. these have smooth leather crossovers, i think that my originals had suede. other than that they are pretty much the same.

Oh I had those!!!! They were my favorite shoes in high school! I bought them in Kinney's Shoe Store........ kept seeing them in the window on the way home from school, and just had to have them!  |
