Hi ! A friend of mine is building a duckpin bowling center and has almost made his goal for building it. I was wondering if anyone wants to contribute to this center by putting out a can locally, fundraising, or even your own contribution. No contribution is too small. Please leave your message on this message board and I will pass it along to him. Duckpin bowling lives and is just Ducky!!

Ummm.... your request for money is a bit too nebulous. For instance, where in the world is this center located? And why would people want to contribute money to a potential "for profit" business?
The owner should make a website and document his project with locals who would be able to enjoy the fruits of his labor.
He also needs to promise the people that 'donate' something for free... like free games, and or food, or kids birthday parties... He needs to give something in return...
With that said... Good Luck!

Whoa wait a minute....don't have a hissy. This person is not trying to bilk money out of people he is just trying to help reach the people for ideas and such for raising the last amount he needs. As for the donations it's totally up to the individual doing it....it's all above board. In return they would get a month of free bowling or billards as much as they want and their name on a plaque thanking all that donate to help bring the bowling center to life. This center will be in Blue Earth, MN. As for the web page, he has been very busy and not able to do a website at this time. Robin you say on your main page you want to keep duckpin bowling alive, so I don't know why you were so quick to jump on this. This guy wants to make a center that all can enjoy and see that there is different kinds of bowling.

Dear Sunny Cookie, I was not having a "hissy". It's my job to weed out the spam, wackos, opportunists and scams from my site and message board and keep my visitors safe from such things. I delete spam/scam all the time.
Go back and reread your post, you're asking for $$ with no information given.
It would have been more helpful to you if your first post contained the same information as your second post.
Ask your friend if he wishes to have a post here, but he has to add valid contact information, such as his name, phone number and address of the proposed center.
Then the visitors to this site can decide for themselves if they want to help support it.
With that said, again, good luck.
