Does anyone remember the stretched out, tall glass pop bottles that were given as prizes at fairs and carnivals? They were filled with colored liquid. Have any of you out there ever took an old album, placed it on a bowl in a warm oven to mold it into a serving bowl for snack foods? Kids today would be bored with the pop bottle as a prize (it doesn't do anything) and forget the melted record album...What's a record??

I never had the bottle or did that to one of my LPs, but I do remember them. When I visited my Grandma I used to hang out with a girl my age. At her house I remember taking empty prescripton pill bottles and filling them half way with tiny loose beads. We then put them on a old cookie sheet and baked them in the oven. They melted down into another shape. Hers turned into a teardrop shaped thing while mine just looked like a toliet seat
