???READING THROUGH SOME OF YOUR E-MAILS REGARDING FRAGRANCES, MADE ME REMEMBER A COUPLE, AND I WAS WONDERING IF ANY OF YOU OUT THERE REMEMBER THEM AS WELL:

WIND SONG PERFUME {"I CAN'T SEEM TO FORGET YOU, YOUR WIND SONG STAYS ON MY MIND, YOUR WIND SONG STAYS ON MY MIND...."} I REMEMBER THINKING THE COMMERCIAL FOR IT WAS BEAUTIFUL, AND SO WAS THE BOTTLE. DOES ANYBODY REMEMBER WHAT THE BOTTLE LOOKED LIKE? I WANT TO SAY THE CAP WAS A CROWN. ALSO DOES ANYBODY REMEMBER WHO MADE IT? I WANT TO SAY PRINCE MACHIBELLI, BUT I AM PROBABLY WRONG.

THE OTHER FRAGRANCE I WANT TO SEE IF ANYBODY REMEMBERS IS: LOVE'S FRESH LEMON. [glow=red,2,300][/glow] I LOVED THIS PERFUME! I DISTINCTLY REMEMBER THE BOTTLE: IT WAS TALL, CYLINDRICAL, FROSTED, AND ON THE TOP AND BOTTOM WAS A RING OF YELLOW, YELLOW WRITING, {I THINK,} AND I WANT TO SAY THE CAP WAS YELLOW AS WELL. DOES ANYBODY REMEMBER WHO MADE THIS ONE AS WELL?
I MISS THIS SMELL. LEMONS ARE MY FAVORITE FRUIT, {I REALLY LIKE EATING THEM. I DON'T DO IT ALL THAT OFTEN, THOUGH.}

THE ONLY FRAGRANCE I HAVE COME ACROSS THAT COMES CLOSE TO LOVE'S FRESH LEMON, IS A SOAP\SHAMPOO\CONDITIONER PUT OUT BY THE PHILOSOPHY COSMETICS COMPANY CALLED: "LEMON CUSTARD." THERE IS A HINT OF VANILLA IN THIS SOAP BUT OTHERWISE, THIS IS THE CLOSEST THING I HAVE FOUND.

Does anybody remember Coty Sweet Earth fragances in the compact? There were single ones and also a compact with 3 different fragrances. I had ylang ylang (pronounced e-lang, e-lang).

'heaven sent ' was my favorite. i still buy it on ebay when i can. i remember the song on the radio: "suddenly you are all of the things that you want to be with heaven sent, heaven se e ent"

Love's Fresh Lemon was great !! I also loved the rain scent Love put out. Prince Matchibelli was the maker of Wind Song.It is available on line at The Vermont Country Store.

The song with it was Donovan's "Wear Your Love Like Heaven".
That's the one I remember, and Love's Fresh Lemon.

Love's Fresh Lemon and Rain scent are on www.fragrancesaver.com/ as of 8/5/08. Not sure how long they'll be around, the lemon seems to come and go. It's one of my favorites also from the 70's. Another big fave at the time--Blue Jeans (NOT the Versace stuff). Came in a cone shaped bottle with a top that looked like a hockey puck sitting on top.
Does anyone remember Skinny Dip and Skinny Dip Strawberry scent? Or was the strawberry another Love's?

Found Lemon-Up shampoo at the Vermont County store online--waiting for that to arrive.

Not only do I remember Skinny Dip strawberry -- I found a bottle while cleaning out my old vanity at my Mom's. It still smells the same -- it hasn't gone off!

I LOVE Love's Fresh Lemon -- the shampoo was my fave.

Wind Song is too strong for me now. I also used to wear Maja and found a wrapped bar of soap this weekend.
