Anyone remember this TV movie about a girl getting cancer and them living up in the mountains?

It was a movie of the week and later became a TV series. She died of cancer and the show was about the father raising his daughter alone.

I defintely remember this movie. She had cancer in her leg but she refused to have her leg removed. She had a baby. It was a sad movie but back then these movies of the week were often pretty maudlin.http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070751/synopsis

Oh yeah, this movie was a tear jerker. Seems to me I also had a paper back novel by the same name.
