This is my first exchange and was wondering on picking a date. Is Nov 29 too early? Is Dec 13 too late? I like the "save the date" idea and would like to send it soon and send the invitation and rules a month before. Any help from all you experienced swappers is appreciated. THANKS

I have my cookie party the same time every year. The 2nd Sunday in December at 2pm. Always works out great. Those who have been the last 5 years always put it in the calendar in January.

Hi, I don't think Nov. 29th is too early...this year I'm hosting mine on the 30th of November. I used to do it the second week, but found that people are really busy by then....even if they want to enjoy themselves they are thinking about their 'to-do' list. It was mentioned last year of possibly doing it earlier and so this year I'm going to give it a shot. We start Christmas the week it actually starts with a party...what could be better than that?
