Is there a law that says when you sell duckpin balls on eBay, Thou Shalt Not Weigh Nor Measure the product? There are always dozens of balls for sale, but in 99% of the listings, there is either (a) no size/weight info at all, or (b) some BS about how they're "about 5 inches and weigh around 4 pounds," or some nonsense like that.
Are all eBay sellers Compleat Morons? When I write to them to ask for this info, they invariably write back and say, "We've been selling balls for 10 years, and nobody cares about the size and weight -- we can't be bothered to do that."
I patiently explain that they'd get a lot more money for their merchandise if they'd invest in a kitchen scale and a set of calipers -- but apparently, this is unreasonable....
