I remember when Amoco (formerly Standard and now BP) gas stations had the Amoco daisey and the bubble umbrellas. The daisy was hard plastic and had 2 adhesive pads you put on it to make it stick. It also came in a plastic bag with daisy seeds. It was free with a purchase of gas but my friend and I used to go to the station and they would give it to us for free. People used put them on their cars and girls put them on their bikes. The bubble umbrellas were sold there for a cheap price if you bought gas. There was a commercial for them on TV and the ladies would sing and dance around with the umbrellas.

My younger sister used the bubble umbrella on rainy days while wearing her white orlon poncho !!!( Cutting edge fashion for a Nebraska grade schooler) Do you remember Gas stations such as Phillips 66, giving away dish premiums ? My older sister got some cool avocado green glasses and some black plastic salad bowls. She promptly stored them in her "Hope Chest" This would have been around '67 or'68. Gas was cheap and they still gave you bonuses to buy your gas from them.
