Before moving to OH I had attend the cookie exchange in Wytheville, VA several times. We finally have a home I am able to host an exchange in and will be doing so this year. I want to use the same format that was used in the Wytheville, VA exchange, but want to be clear on it as it's been several years since attending.
We were to bring 6 doz cookies which were wrapped in some form or fashion in individual dozens, which were placed in an area in the home. When we entered the door we were given a # to place with our cookies. Shortly after everyone arrived we each drew 6 different #'s out of a hat and then went to hunt for our cookies. It was a nice way of doing the exchange and when I've explained it around here the ladies have never done it that way. They are used to just taking a cookie off each plate. They are wanting to try this way.
I had saved a copy of the invitation that was sent out about the exchange and of course after 2 moves since living in VA I can't find it. I'd also like to know if there is some way I can get a copy of the inviation.
