Hi ladies, I see your recommendation on 6 dozen...but if I have up to 20 people how do we divide up the cookies. Last year I made everyone bring a dozen for each person attending??? Please help~! ;D

I was thinking each lady would receive a number as she entered. Then we would get to make 1 selection at a time in numbered order. I am opting for a cookie dough exchange because I prefer fresh baked cookies when I want them.

We will be doing an exchange for several ladies. I am having everyone bring 4 dozen cookies. We will be drawing numbers for the order to pick out their cookies. I am having them package their cookies at home in 1/2 dozen increments.
I know that not everyone will be getting every kind but, that's the purpose of getting smaller amounts than 1 dozen and drawing numbers.

Hi, I also ask my guests to bring 4 dozen. How I do it, Is when it's time to exchange, I ask everyone to go around the table and take 2 of each kind. Once "round 1" is done, we circle again taking two, until all cookies are gone! This works well for us. Although some cookies go faster than others, everyone usually get at least one of each kind, and we still get a huge tray of cookies and everyone leaves happy!

This year will be the 5th Annual exchange and I have every guest bring 1 dozen cookies for everyone...I keep the attendance to the first 12 replies..so everyone brings 12 dozen and goes home with 12 dozen. This way you get a wide assortment of all that was brought and can use it any way you like. I make cookie trays for the salon and work. I have also made this into a cookie/treat exchange as it opened up more interesting items such as homemade snack mixes and candy. It is always a good time.

I opted for 6 per package, 1 pkg per person and one of the ladies there thought I was a genius because she says so very often when they are left on trays, people "pick" through their fav's and some of the guests end up getting their feelings hurt. This way everyone gets 1 package of EACH cookie...worked out great!
