I am doing my first CE on the 13th. I did not invite many people because I wanted to keep it at 10 including myself. I was getting bumbed out because I started getting excuse after excuse. I ended up changing the date and scrambling to invite more people to take other's places! Things are now coming together nicely now. I have 6 confirmed yes, 2 maybes and 2 not heard from yet....and 1 more waiting in the wings to invite should I get a no from someone.
I bought some cute spatulas in the Dollar corner of Target they are 2packs one solid color and one clear with christmas things imbeded in it like trees or santas. I got packs of shower gels in cookie flavors at Joann's and will break up the sets for prize gifts. I am also crocheting scrubbies and dish cloths.
I need to get small ornaments for the right left game. I know they are not christmasy but I think I am going to get the reusable shopping bags from Wegmans for everyone to pack up their goodies to take home. They are large and very sturdy. They have red and green ones but they are tomaotes and peas! Oh well they will do nicely and be an added goodie for the guests.
