Why go shopping when you can roll some rocks instead?
If anyone's interested, there's a RIDBA tourney this weekend at Town Hall lanes in Johnston, RI. 5 games, 90% handicap (I think -- maybe it's 80, I forget). Shifts are at noon today, Saturday -- 12:00noon & 3:00pm, and Sunday -- 10:00am & 1:00pm.
Re-entry is allowed, and it costs $30/shift. If you don't have an RIDBA average, you don't get any handicap pins until you have 21 games in the books (that's what I did over the summer).
I'll be in today's noon shift!
