My co-workers and I are in retail so you can guess how limited our time is this time of year. I've always wished I could do this so I was thinking if we had say 6 people we would each bring 5 dozen wrapped individually and we would all take home 5 dozen different cookies. Has anyone tried this and how did it come out? Did you set some rules in variety? We could do this on our lunch hour and still have fun I think.

I am also in retail and we did this last year and it worked out fine. We had a sign up sheet and we signed it stating what kind of cookie we would be bring so people didn't bring the same kind. We had 36 people sign up and participate. We each brought in 36 cookies individually wrapped. We had bags labeled with each participants name. When you brought your cookies in you put 1 in each bag and we went home with 36 different cookies. You had 2 days to bring them in because if the irregular hours worked in retail.. We already have 40 people signed up for this year..

That sounds really easy and fun. Thanks for your idea.

I too am planning our 1st Cookie Exchange which we plan to do during our Holiday Luncheon. Because we could have up to 40 people participating I am thinking of splitting us up in groups of 10 so that each of us will only have 10 dozen to have to make. I think this will be lots of fun! Any ideas? I'm all ears!
