Looking for historical information, mainly from the 50's, 60's & 70's when my father, Charles "Bucky" Crawford was in the professional duckpin league. I've been able to find information about his "ranking" but don't know where to begin looking for tournament win data. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

SLB do you have any idea what houses your father bowled out of. I have one of the largest collection of duckpin bowlers pictures from the 40's, 50's and 60's. and from all houses.

It would be really cool if you made an historical duckpin website with all those pictures. I would link to it from the Duckpin section. We need to keep this sport alive with more duckpin related webpages. Just a suggestion.

Thanks You might check the website for the Baltimore Bowlers Association. They should have a list of tournaments and winners. Also, the National Duckpin Bowling Congress has their own site. I bowled with your father in the 1970-1971 season in the Baltimore Pro League.

Oops! Also meant to tell you your father bowled at Greenway Bowl East during the mid to late 60's at least. He bowled in the Thursday night Men's Triples during that time. I was on his team for one season. He also bowled in the Baltimore Pro League which was a traveling league that bowled in 12 different bowling centers. I'm also sure he was a member of the Duckpin Professional Bowlers Association. They've also got a website

Just wondering if, in fact you have a large collection of pics etc. hoping maybe you just might have program books from the DPBA and or ALL-STAR Tournament program books from early 70s??? If so, I'd love even a xerox copy of any that may have info from when I bowled (way back in those days) you can email to gjwk1@comcast.net if you find anything. Thanks a million, Bruce Brailsford

Thanks SLB, I am doing genealogical research, and would love to get info on your branch of the family. Your father was somehow related to my great grandmother, Sarah Cook (nee Crawford), possibly through Thomas Crawford. Please contact me at: spragel_at_netzero.net Thanks, Steve
