Since a lot of us are talking about songs-
What song(s) run through your head for no apparent reason-- or come to you out of nowhere in the middle of the night?
I had a very odd one a few days ago, could not remember at all what it was. Finally figured it was "Isis" by Dylan. A weird song, even for him. Just Dylan's voice over and over in my head, "I was thinkin' about silver, I was thinkin' about gold, I was thinkin' about turquoise and world's biggest necklace"...
Those were two irritating days, I tellya.

All the Leaves are brown and the sky is grey, I've been for a walk on a winter's day. I'd be safe and warm if I was in L.A. California Dreamin' --Momma's & the Poppas. Just that kind of day!!!! gray and cloudy

Your the best thing that ever happened...to me: Style Council. Actually I'm listening to it now and I can't think of anything else while I'm listening to it! But earlier in the day I couldn't get Marvin Gaye and Dianna Ross out of head singing : Stop, look, listen to your heart..

It's Tommy James and the Shondells...
"Crystal blue persuasion, mm-hmm It's a new vibration Crystal blue persuasion, crystal Blue persuasion..."
It always reminds me of loading up in the family's 1966 Ford Galaxy and hitting the highway to Florida on summer vacation. The beaches were hardly crowded then, and anybody who was anybody ended up at Cypress Gardens, by way of Gatorland, of course.
Those were the days...

I like to rock out so Mississippi Queen by Mountain and Too Hot to Handle by UFO. I also enjoyed Led Zeppelin, Ted Nugent and Aerosmith too, Dave.

Haven't heard it on the radio in a long long time, yet the chorus to Lobo's Me and you and a dog named Boo, brings back grins and more.
Me and you and a dog named Boo, Travellin' and livin' off the land. Me and you and a dog named Boo, How I love bein' a free man
cheers Bear of Fairland, Maryland
